The e-billing Assistant will work alongside the e-billing Lead for all practice Areas and coordinate all aspects of the e-billing function primarily for London, with touch points into our other locations in a timely, efficient, accurate and professional manner.
Responsibilities
* Monitor e-billing middleware platform (BillBlast) to ensure prompt action of required eBilling actions.
* Submit invoices to e-billing platforms as requested by the London Revenue team.
* Resolve invoice rejections & liaise with the Revenue team to avoid or reduce future rejections.
* Follow detailed procedures to submit and record timekeeper rates to eBilling platforms.
* Ensure new and existing e-billed clients/matters are setup correctly to allow smooth eBilling process.
* Run weekly reports and issue weekly status notifications to billers and partners.
* Be the initial point of contact for London e-billing queries and issues.
* Build strong working relationships with internal and external e-billing stakeholders.
* Become knowledgeable within the 3E system to allow self-resolution, end to end issues between Revenue & e-billing.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous exposure to e-billing platforms and e-billing processes.
* Understanding of e-billing file formats, e.g. LEDES and XML.
* Aware of legal billing process and applicable regulatory boundaries.
* Good knowledge of Excel, with the ability to clearly manipulate & present digestible data.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills to all levels of the business.
