Haygrove are looking for a Forward Planner Administrator who will play a critical role in ensuring smooth packhouse operations by aligning stock levels with sales forecasts. This position requires strong systems skills to monitor inventory, anticipate needs, and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making. Working closely with the packhouse, sales, and procurement teams, the role is integral to maintaining efficiency, minimising waste, and meeting customer demands in a dynamic and fast-paced environment:
Key accountabilities of the role
Stock Monitoring & Forecasting:
1. Use systems to monitor incoming stock levels and sales forecasts to ensure alignment with packhouse demands.
2. Identify potential stock shortages or surpluses and provide proactive solutions to the packhouse team.
Systems Management:
1. Maintain and optimise stock tracking software and systems for real-time data accuracy.
2. Generate reports on stock movement, trends, and projections to aid decision-making.
Sales Coordination:
1. Collaborate with the sales and supply chain teams to ensure stock availability meets customer orders and deadlines.
2. Communicate effectively with the PBM team to update them on anticipated requirements.
Operational Support:
1. Work closely with the packhouse managers to develop strategies for improved stock flow and minimised waste.
2. Assist in planning daily and weekly production schedules based on stock availability and sales priorities.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
1. Analyse stock trends and contribute to operational improvements.
2. Present data insights to key stakeholders, identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost-saving measures.

Experience:
1. Proven experience in an administrative or planning role, preferably within a packhouse, production, or logistics environment.
2. Familiarity with soft fruit production and packaging processes (preferred but not essential).
3. Strong systems skills, including proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
4. Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a time-sensitive setting.
5. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
6. Effective communication and collaboration abilities to liaise with cross-functional teams.
