In this key role, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Portfolio Director to drive revenue, build industry relationships, and position the event as a premier gathering in its sector.\n\nThis is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in establishing a new event, with potential for long-term growth and responsibility as the event scales.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to secure exhibitor and sponsorship revenue.\n\n * Build and manage a robust pipeline of new business opportunities and nurture client relationships for long-term growth.\n\n * Conduct meetings, presentations, and negotiations to establish high-value partnerships.\n\n * Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align sales strategies with event objectives and audience acquisition.\n\n * Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and post-sale engagement.\n\n * Stay informed on industry trends and market developments to identify growth opportunities.\n\n * Represent the event at relevant industry shows and networking events to drive new business.\n\n * Provide regular sales performance updates and actionable insights to senior management.\n\nAbout You:\n\n * Demonstrated success in event sales, particularly within B2B exhibitions, conferences, or media.\n\n * Strong commercial acumen and a proven ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.\n\n * Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.\n\n * Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.\n\n * Proficiency in managing multiple revenue streams, including exhibition sales, sponsorships, and digital offerings.\n\n * Confident in lead generation, prospecting, and new business development.\n\n * Organized and adept at managing deals across various sales cycle stages.\n\n * Experience using CRM tools and managing sales pipelines.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Familiarity with sales automation tools like Salesforce.\n\n * Experience selling into technology or innovation sectors.\n\n * Established network within the target industry.\n\n * Proven ability to engage with C-level and senior decision-makers.\n\nWe read through each application carefully and reply quickly to those who we think could be a good fit for the role.\n\nWe look forward to hearing from you - good luck
