Job Title: Production & Logistics Coordinator

Our client, a well-established organisation in Bilston, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production & Logistics Coordinator to join their team. This role is responsible for efficiently coordinating production, deliveries, and logistics to ensure customer satisfaction and timely order completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with commercial departments, production controllers, and end customers to coordinate and plan deliveries according to their order requirements.
Plan and schedule deliveries using both internal fleet vehicles and external haulage companies.
Work closely with yard supervisors to plan loads for delivery on our internal fleet.
Book external transport companies for domestic and international deliveries.
Attend production meetings to ensure manufacturing and delivery align with company and customer expectations.
Prioritise manufacturing processes and work in collaboration with the production team.
Maintain direct communication with customers regarding product delivery.
Provide consistent and exceptional customer support to enhance customer satisfaction.
Reallocate stock reservations as needed to minimise "panic" manufacturing.
Coordinate return collections to align with deliveries within the same geographical area.
Process delivery notes and picking tickets, ensuring accurate allocation to sales orders.
Collaborate with freight forwarders to plan and execute deliveries for export.
Complete all necessary paperwork for export, ensuring compliance with company regulations.Key Requirements:
Previous experience in logistics and coordination.
Strong planning and organisational skills.
Knowledge of delivery planning, export consignments, and organising logistics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with different departments and external stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on meeting delivery expectations.
Proficient in paperwork documentation and compliance.
