I am working with a high-end, multifaceted venue in Oxford who hosts a variety of exciting events throughout the year. We are seeking an experienced event operations manager to join the team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hospitality & events operation across conference bookings to high-profile fine dining dinners and events.
The Role:
1. Overseeing the planning and smooth operational delivery of events
2. Responsible for the review and action plan to improve delivery of events
3. Build and lead a high-performing team
4. Optimise sales and control costs
5. Managing external suppliers and contractors
6. Bring innovative solutions to the department
7. Deliver outstanding customer events experience
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Proven experience in conference and events
2. Detailed understanding of budget management and cost control
3. Strong man management skills
4. Experience working on large or multi-site venues
5. Excellent communication skills
6. A passion for delivering exceptional standards
