An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Play Assistant to work in our Nursery to support play experiences for all children.
A caring, nurturing personality is required, and you will be expected to work closely with the Class Teacher, Senior Early Childhood Practitioner and other members of the team.
The role will involve contributing to the development, planning and implementation of appropriate experiences within a play curriculum.
The Individual
The successful candidate will be able to think 'on their feet' and enjoy a varied role to support children's wellbeing and learning within a safe and inclusive environment.
A genuine interest in the development of children and their wellbeing is essential and the important qualities are empathy, patience and an ability to engage with children and young people.
Sensitivity is also required when dealing with any care routines and to respect confidentiality at all times.
