Steamatic Ballarat/Horsham restores people’s lives. When disaster strikes, be it flood, fire or mould contamination, Steamatic will carry out the appropriate work to restore client premises.
Our services include contents restoration, structural drying, mould remediation and biohazard remediation. Steamatic’s primary goal is a measured and rapid response to get clients back to business, or back into their homes as quickly as possible. From industrial, commercial, or residential properties, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Opportunity:
Do you enjoy helping people? Do you live in the Horsham/Grampians region? We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic people to join our Team. Our Restoration Technicians are responsible for providing practical expertise when homes and businesses have experienced damage by fire, smoke, soot, water and mould. Our Technicians perform repairs and restorations, so contractors can finish off and get the premises back to their pre-event state. Comprehensive on-the-job and in-house training is provided.
You will receive a company van, plus the necessary tools of the trade.
Key responsibilities include:
You will be required to perform (but not limited to) the following tasks:
1. Drying, cleaning, removal or relaying of carpet as deemed necessary
2. Emergency flood services such as water extraction, contents & structural drying, and stripping out
3. Cleaning and remediation of fire, smoke & soot damage
4. Mould remediation of damaged property including careful removal of damaged building materials
5. Contents cleaning/drying and remediation along with assessing and reporting job activities
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A strong work ethic, highly motivated & a positive can-do attitude.
* Positive outlook, reliable & able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* A desire to 'do the job right' every time so that we maintain our market leadership
* The ability to work independently, or as part of a team
* The capacity to work outside normal business hours as required
* Be physically fit, express a desire to learn new skills and take place in ongoing training programs
* A valid driver's license & white card, and be prepared to undergo a Police Check.
