Reporting into the Head of Procurement, you will oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from supplier identification to timely delivery of key systems for our subsea habitats and surface assets. You will manage a diverse range of commodities, ensuring cost-effective, high-quality, and compliant sourcing while fostering effective supplier relationships. Working within a dynamic environment, you will also collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure technical specifications are met and drive continuous improvement in supply chain operations. New Supplier Identification & Onboarding: Lead the identification, sourcing and onboarding of new suppliers, ensuring they meet both internal and external regulatory standards for marine and underwater operations. Quotation and Order/contract management: Oversee competitive tendering processes, managing cost, lead times, and supplier capabilities, while negotiating contracts that protect DEEP’s best interests. Supplier Relationship & Performance Management: Ensure suppliers consistently deliver on time, meet cost targets, and comply with quality and regulatory requirements, while actively managing risks and driving continuous improvement. Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with wider functions i.e. Engineering teams to understand technical specifications and relay these requirements to suppliers, ensuring alignment between engineering needs and supplier capabilities. Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain effective and successful working relationships with senior level stakeholders across functions and maintain clear communication to facilitate timely and informed decision-making processes among stakeholders.
