Schools Volunteer | Ideally one morning per week (term time) National Museums Scotland is currently looking for a Schools Volunteer at our National Museum of Rural Life, East Kilbride. We are looking for a friendly, energetic and engaging individual to volunteer with our Learning & Engagement team. About the Schools Volunteer role Our Schools Volunteer will help us deliver our schools programme which covers history and science topics at the National Museum of Rural Life which is home to exhibitions, a traditional Farmhouse and a working farm. They will welcome school pupils and teachers to the Learning Centre as well as helping facilitate our workshops. What’s involved? Assisting the Enabler with delivering workshops Collecting feedback from school groups. Ideally, we are hoping our successful volunteer would be able to provide us with one morning (9.30 – 13.30) per week during school term time by arrangement.
