Radio X is home to the biggest personalities, and the best rock, indie, and alternative music.
In a monumental year for the genre, Radio X also celebrates its 10th birthday, and you’ll work with one of the world’s top broadcasters as Producer for The Chris Moyles Show.
In this role, you will create industry-leading output on the breakfast show on Radio X, working closely with the executive producer, audio and visual producers, presenter, and co-presenter. You will have an important role in driving forward the listener figures of the show. You will be key in developing innovative ideas to meet client briefs and create engaging premium rate ideas to drive revenue for the show and station.
In this role, you’ll be passionate about the music and culture that Radio X celebrates. You’ll produce the very best content with the show’s talent, bringing to life their ideas and devising your own tailored features and mechanics, ensuring that our output is always of the highest standards across all of our broadcast and digital platforms. We’re looking for big, head-turning, and innovative ideas, coupled with the ability to deliver them with an attention to detail, all in a way that engages our audience.
As a Producer at Global, you will:
Key Responsibilities
1. Create standout content (30%): Work directly with Chris Moyles, the executive producer, and show team to create exceptional and entertaining breakfast show content that keeps our listeners coming back for more.
2. Drive innovation and engagement (25%): Lead on fresh, head-turning ideas across broadcast and digital platforms. Develop creative branded content, premium-rate competitions, and celebrity-driven features.
3. Collaborate cross-functionally (25%): Connect with commercial, digital, and PR teams to bring projects to life. Be the bridge between departments, managing logistics, aligning goals, and ensuring smooth execution across the board.
4. Champion the Radio X audience (20%): Deeply understand our 25-44-year-old core listeners, their music tastes, and cultural leanings – and ensure everything we do reflects and excites them.

2. Produced standout audio and visual content with artists, guests, and on-air talent.
3. Delivered exciting new ideas that engage listeners and grow our digital presence, including on Global Player.
4. Executed branded content and premium-rate campaigns that meet client briefs and station goals.
