Job Description: We are currently seeking qualified Early Years Practitioners to join our pool of temporary staff. As a Temporary Early Years Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work in different childcare settings on a flexible basis, covering staff absences, busy periods, or special projects. This role offers variety, the chance to gain valuable experience, and the flexibility to work around your schedule. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years old in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote children’s learning and development. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, maintaining professionalism and adaptability in different environments. Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, following health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures. Support children with their personal care needs, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene routines. Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure continuity of care and a smooth transition for children. Requirements: Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education). Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 years old in a childcare setting. Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and its implementation. Flexibility and availability to work on short notice and adapt to different childcare settings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and work effectively in a team.
