Job Description Your Mission as a Health & Safety Coordinator You will ensure that health & safety requirements for the office environment meet legal and organisational standards while maintaining compliance. Your future team will rely on you to enhance safety processes and drive continuous improvements. Key Responsibilities: Manage and monitor safety walks, ensuring corrective actions are taken. Review and oversee Learning Reports, coordinating completion of safety actions. Track and report accidents/near misses, ensuring follow-up actions are completed. Oversee first aid provisions and fire marshal coordination, arranging training as needed. Administer Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments and ensure workplace adaptations. Participate in H&S meetings, reporting KPIs and addressing employee concerns. Conduct risk assessments on first aid, stress, and general office safety. Contribute to the mental health and wellbeing strategy within the organisation. Qualifications Essential Skills & Qualifications: NEBOSH National General Certificate (or equivalent). Knowledge of UK health & safety legislation in office environments. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. ✔️ Desired Skills: Experience using Power Automate, Forms, and Power BI. Familiarity with H&S reporting and KPI tracking. Previous experience working with site-based teams. Ability to automate reporting processes for efficiency. Understanding of mental health and wellbeing strategies.
