What the role will involve
The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
9. Supporting and developing the business’s management systems.
10. Supporting the Senior Quality, EHS and Facilities Manager to ensure conformance to ISO14001, ISO45001 and business requirements.
11. Identifying CSUK QEHS training needs and develop/deliver training materials (i.e., toolbox talks).
12. Liaising with business stakeholders regarding issues around Environment and Health and Safety.
13. Working with the EHS and Facilities team to ensure compliance to EHS legislation.
14. Reviewing and improving current working practices with regards to Health and Safety.
15. Conducting and supporting risk assessments.
16. Support environmental sustainability improvements in line with L3HUK targets.
17. Performing internal audits across the Business Management System.
18. Coordinating and reporting on continual improvement programmes within the business.
What you’ll bring
The role requires the following experience and skills:
Essential
19. HND\Degree level qualification in a Science, Engineering, Business or Sustainability Discipline.
20. Good analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct root cause analyses and devise suitable corrective action plans
21. Experience using a wide range of root cause analysis tools
22. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
23. Demonstrable interpersonal skills
Desirable
24. Hold a recognised H&S qualification.
25. Understanding of continuous improvement/lean principles and tools
26. Internal audit trained in any of ISO9001, ISO14001 or ISO45001 management standards
27. Able to demonstrate an understanding of UK Health and Safety and Environmental legislation
