The Sales Operations Manager will work in conjunction with the Operations Director to support, enable, and drive sales performance backed by data.
About The Role
As our Sales Operations Manager at Thomson Reuters, you will:
* Be accountable for supporting the Global Sales Organisation.
* Optimize sales and operational efficiency through process improvement, system enhancements, and best practice sharing.
* Responsible for the ongoing training of new and existing users in Salesforce to drive user adoption.
* Engage and work with aligned teams (Sales Support, GCO, Customer Success, Finance) to effectively achieve data needs and analysis results.
* Manage multiple concurrent projects, initiate, and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
* Assist the Sales Operations Director in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies and implementing data enrichment processes to improve the sales team’s performance.
* Develop and maintain sales analytics reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making for the sales and executive leadership teams.
* Partner with the Tech Lead to understand new capabilities available in Salesforce.
* Maintain key relationships with sales management/sales team to enforce process and quality of data input.
Key Deliverables
* Salesforce dashboards that enable a single revenue view of the business for Sales and leadership and include agreed KPIs.
* Partnership with finance on key account financial status.
* Expertise in CRM/Order Management systems (e.g., Salesforce and P.io) and processes to guide Sales Leaders on team performance.
* Key Messaging, Enablement & Training.
* Workflow Enhancements - Fault Fix.
* Work closely with Sales Support to ensure that Sales processes are being followed.
Key Relationships:
Global Agency Sales Team, Sales Leadership Team, Global Customer Operations, Customer Admin, Customer Data Management team, Cross-SBUs Sales Enablement, and Sales Process Specialist.
About You
To be our Sales Operations Manager, you will likely have:
* In-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g., Sales Excellence, GCO, Commercial policy, finance, Sales Admin, Technology, etc.).
* Prior experience in business operations, sales, or related experience, primarily in the area of project management and implementing process improvement.
* Data analysis and performance/operational metrics in a simple and digestible format.
* Work experience using and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data.
* Track record of developing strong working relationships with leaders and leading via influence.
* Experience of working in a matrix environment and multiple stakeholder groups from different functions within a business.
* Managing senior stakeholder relationships and diverse virtual teams across a variety of locations.
* Proven success in delivering results, having a bias for action and translating strategy to implementation.
* Strong process management skills and experience managing and improving complex projects/processes.
* Ability to problem-solve and communicate issues to Capability Manager.
Desired Skills:
* Data visualization tools knowledge preferred – such as Tableau and Power BI.
* Experience with SaaS solutions/platforms.
* Additional languages are desirable.
