In addition to establishing consistent programme planning and governance, this role will lead on PM processes development and continuous improvement. PM toolset definition/evaluation and implementation. Fully establishing and leading the PMO function within the company. Role Responsibilities Establish, develop and lead a professional Project Management Office within the Company. Working with and across a strong team of Project/Programme Managers to develop and maintain high-quality, integrated schedules. Lead the development and evolution of PM processes. Tailoring the implementation of the project management operational framework policies to fit Callen-Lenz Utilise your user experience of different Project Management software solutions to lead the requirements definition, selection, and implementation of a new PM toolset across the company. Actively support the PMs in tracking progress against the project schedule, including forecasting of potential problem areas and proposing mitigation measures. Actively lead the development and implementation of a robust, scalable Integrated Resource Planning process and toolset. Provide critical path and schedule risk analysis support. Assess the impact of change to the project planning baseline. Lead in the definition and generation of standardised outputs to support routine Project Review Boards and ad-hoc reporting/governance as required. Providing planning and scheduling expertise in support of a project/programme team. Perform other related duties when required. About You Qualifications Formal PM qualification (e.g. APMP, PMQ, PMP or Prince 2). Preferably educated to first degree level in a STEM subject, but relevant skills and experience is key requirement. Skills: Essential Experience leading a PMO function in a line management capacity. Knowledge and experience of using best practice project planning processes and toolsets. Proven ability to quickly understand the operating landscape and establish own priority activities as a self-starter. Demonstrable experience in the development, integration, and analysis of project plans for both development and production projects. Demonstrable experience of defining and implementing process change within an organisation. Ability to manage priorities and lead a team to work to challenging timescales. Experience in generating and analysing project. performance data (schedule, resource, and cost), including SRA/Critical path analysis. Clear communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to foster collaborative working relationships with colleagues at all levels. Demonstrable experience of successfully developing and presenting “business cases” for process/tool changes at all levels within a business. Desirable Experience leading a PMO function within the Aerospace and Defence sector. Experience in building a PMO capability in an SME environment is highly desirable. Experience implementing new PM toolsets into an organisation is highly desirable.
