Job Description Design Estimator
Location: Gillingham, Kent
Department: Projects
Reporting to: Head of Project Sales
Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the management team, the Design Estimator will:
Design fire systems in line with BS5839-1 standards using AutoCAD, interpreting printed plans for both complete systems and modifications.
Review and analyse client specifications, drawings, and enquiries.
Prepare accurate cost estimations and ensure all quotations are technically and commercially sound.
Produce high-quality professional quotations and technical submittals, incorporating all necessary technical and commercial content.
Engage with clients to fully understand their requirements, presenting proposals that highlight Senseco’s technical and commercial advantages.
Assess incoming enquiries to determine suitability based on company bid/no-bid policies.
Collaborate with the Sales and Projects Teams, assisting with designs and reviewing technical content to ensure alignment with project requirements.
Primarily office-based but may involve site visits and surveys.
Support the achievement of monthly sales targets.
