Job Description:
Prudhoe Community High School requires a full time Mathematics teacher to commence September 2025. Our Maths department consists of a team that are intent on delivering the maths curriculum in a cohesive and structured way, focussing on the application of maths and problem solving. We follow a fully resourced KS3 and GCSE curriculum which was developed in-house and which follows on from the curriculum delivered by the middle schools within Cheviot Learning Trust.
The department works collaboratively to tweak lessons and work together to continually improve. We offer A level in Maths and Further Maths, in addition to AQA core maths in Year 12. GCSE results from 2024: 9-5 50% 9-4 76.6%.
