We are looking for a passionate individual who is customer focused, a team player and wants to help improve our local communities in Charnwood.
Role Overview:
Charnwood Borough Council’s Housing Repairs team is looking for a qualified Electrician to carry out a wide range of electrical work and repairs associated with the maintenance and adaptation of social housing, Council properties and public buildings.
You must have NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation work 2391 or 2392, Part P knowledge and 18th edition as well as the ability and desire to deliver high quality customer standards, in line with the Council’s customer service excellence standard and a good understanding of tablet-based systems.
The role is permanent and will include participation in the out-of-hours call-out service. A full driving licence is essential, and a van is supplied for Charnwood business use only. Power tools and uniform are also provided.
