Robert Half is recruiting for a Qualified Management Accountant to join a large company based in South Birmingham. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a growing but already well established business. You will be managing 3 / 4 team members and working directly for the Regional Financial Controller.

Duties will include:
1. Complete a standardised, fully detailed profit and loss account and balance sheet for submission to Head Office on a monthly basis
2. Post expenses, intercompany recharges, accruals and prepayments
3. Review and analyse all aspects of the monthly results with full explanation of any variance to budget or prior year
4. Production of monthly management accounts pack for management team including statistical data and KPI's on sales, margins, overheads and working capital
5. Production of balance sheet control pack incorporating key financial, operational and procedural controls
6. Ensure daily cash book / bank reconciliation is completed
7. Complete annual budgeting process along with quarterly forecasts (including a monthly update of budget files
8. Contribute to improve finance processes and drive efficiency
9. Support the Credit Control & Purchase Ledger Teams, assisting with queries
