Hybrid working and potential for part time hours - A pivotal role in a leading Destination Management Company, this is fantastic opportunity for an experienced events professional THE COMPANY This boutique, award winning Destination Management Company offers inbound event management and logistical delivery services for a vast array of blue-chip clients from over 30 global destinations including South Africa, Brazil, South Korea and the Middle East. Handling small scale projects with simple requirements such as a venue find service or a programme of restaurant bookings through to full project management of incentive projects for up to 1,000 delegates - no two days are the same in this fast paced organisation. Located in bespoke offices within a stately home and set in beautiful grounds, this business offers a truly fantastic working environment, a flexible approach and an incredibly supportive, collaborative culture. THE ROLE They are looking to grow the team with a Head of Events; working at a senior level and in collaboration with the CEO of the business, this role will hold the following responsibilities: - Leading client accounts and nurturing relationships - Inputting into the strategic direction of the business - Managing the project delivery team and contractors - Resourcing new enquiries and projects across the team - Holding overarching responsibility for the delivery output of the team - Heading up relationships with preferred suppliers - Leading on larger scale projects from brief to delivery - Managing budget sign offs, quality control and escalations - Working commercially to maximise profit margins - Representing the business to clients onsite and at industry events THE CANDIDATE We are looking for candidates with senior level experience from an event agency or destination management company. Individuals must have proven people management experience and a solid skill set in end to end logistical event delivery. Any knowledge of London venues would also be an advantage. This business offers a fantastic working environment and whilst it is a full time position, they may consider candidates who are seeking reduced hours or a 4 day working week.
