Oxford Population Health (Nuffield Department of Population Health) contains world-renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching. The Department is looking to recruit a Finance Officer (Grants) to join the Finance Team to process grant applications, supplements, no cost extensions and internal calls for the Department. The candidates should be educated to a degree level or equivalent. Substantial relevant financial management experience is essential. Candidates will have relevant experience of computerised accounting/finance systems. They will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to convey complex financial information and processes to people from non-finance backgrounds. They will demonstrate strong numeracy, attention to detail and will have strong IT skills. The post is full-time (part-time considered) and fixed-term for 2 years.
