Contractually based out of our Portsmouth office you’ll cover the South Hampshire and West Sussex area. We’ll match employee contributions between 7% and 10% Life assurance paid at x 3 annual salary Private medical insurance Health care cash plan called Medicash Enhanced pay for maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave Access to counselling, legal and financial information Electric car scheme Huge variety of in-house & e-learning courses and a range of coaching and mentoring programmes Here’s the facts about the role: As an Anti-Social Behaviour Officer you’ll provide a comprehensive service for our customers who need it, this will include complainant and alleged perpetrator management, investigating potential tenancy fraud, applying for ‘no access’ injunctions, appearing in court where needed, and supporting in the preparation of legal court applications and statements where legal interventions are being sought. You’ll be providing a customer focused and responsive service where there have been cases of ASB such as harassment and domestic abuse in accordance with the organisations policies & procedures whilst ensuring a quality service and value for money. This role is customer-focused and will require a strong team player who can support colleagues and managers with case management, offer advice and support in training, and liaise with external agencies as needed. You will compile evidence, take witness statements, provide effective witness support, and support in cases that get to court. You will also work closely with local authority partners to ensure our customers’ needs are met, and will maintain up to date knowledge of housing legislation and best practices. Our ideal candidate will need good knowledge and best practice of ASB and tenancy fraud, and housing legislation. You’ll also have an awareness and understanding of the social housing sector, so previous experience in housing would be beneficial. You’ll have experience in investigatory work, ASB, or similar. And will have experience working in a customer centred role, with the necessary strong communication skills to work with both customers and partner agencies. An appropriate professional qualification is an advantage but is not essential. Due to the nature of this role, you’ll need you to be able to travel. So you’ll need a full current driving licence with access to a vehicle. This role is subject to a satisfactory DBS check which will be carried out upon successful appointment.
