Job Advert: Full-Time Key Worker – Special School and Alternative Provision We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Key Worker to join the team at one of our SEMH schools in Portsmouth. The school supports students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) developmental needs, as well as medical needs. Key Details:
* Start Date: ASAP
* Duration: Until the end of July (could potentially be extended in to the new term)
* Working Hours: Full-time
Requirements:
* Must hold a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle.
* Prior experience working with SEN students or supporting individuals with challenging behaviour.
* A proactive and resilient approach to working in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
* Willingness to undertake PRICE training (to be arranged through us).
Responsibilities:
* Provide consistent and tailored support to students with SEMH and medical needs.
* Build positive relationships with students, supporting their emotional well-being and development.
* Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
* Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all students.
