Are you an experienced Site Manager looking for a new challenge within a key joint venture in the water industry? Our client, a leading partnership between two major contractors, is seeking a Site Manager to oversee key water infrastructure projects in the Brighton area.
Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring that all work is carried out safely, on time, and within budget.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
Oversee the site workforce and ensure that all activities are aligned with project specifications and safety regulations.
Ensure all construction activities meet industry standards and client expectations.
Monitor project progress, prepare site reports, and maintain accurate records of site activities.
Identify and mitigate potential issues, ensuring any challenges are resolved swiftly to avoid project delays.
Maintain effective communication with the client, ensuring that all project requirements and concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, promoting a culture of safety across the site.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally within the water or infrastructure sector.
Strong understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and site management best practices.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple teams and subcontractors.
Exceptional communication skills to engage with clients, project teams, and site staff.
Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
