Opportunity
This is a great opportunity to bring your awesome skills at building communication strategies that deliver strong stakeholder engagement and build audience reach at pace across a range of channels including digital, social media and in-person events to the Soil Association Farmer Communications team. You'll be working across EU Commissioned pan-European projects working with researchers, scientists, farmers and land managers to reach a broad group of stakeholders from policy makers to farmers and citizens, paving the way for vital changes in agroecological farming and soil health management. As part of the communication network at the Soil Association, working closely with the Farmer & Land Use team of advisors, you will work with partners across 13 countries to capture the breakthrough moments of these high-profile projects and drive their visibility across our European project channels, and to our farming audiences from Soil Association.
About You
You will have significant experience in delivering communications strategies and activity that meet project targets and deadlines, working with multiple partners and contributors to tease out the most notable outputs and impact from the projects, and work with them to form a range of communications including news pieces, blog posts, podcast content, media articles and interviews, infographics, videos, events and lots of social media content. You will enjoy the challenge of turning complex, science-based outcomes in to content that is accessible and usable by a broad range of stakeholders, from policy makers to farmers, citizens to students, and to relevant pockets of industry. You are a people person, keen to make new contacts, build relationships and work closely with a broad group of partners in a collaborative way. You are organised, experienced at putting together activity plans that provide a strong blueprint for the project and work closely to budget.
