Brackenridge is seeking an exceptional People and Capability (P&C) Advisor to support the General Manager, People & Culture in their people strategies and objectives. You will be nurtured and developed to grow within the team by working in the areas that really make you shine!
About the opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager People and Culture, the People and Capability Advisor will play a critical role in supporting the GM in providing people-related services across the Brackenridge team. In addition, the People and Capability Advisor will work alongside the outstanding P&C team to offer support and advice when required.
In doing this, the People and Capability Advisor will:
1. Provide employee relations support and engagement
2. Use influence, coaching, and communication skills to support people leaders
3. Support the General Manager to deliver a full suite of people-related functions across the business
4. Support the wider team to ensure smooth delivery of P&C services
5. Support the design, development, and delivery of training when required
6. Ensure employment information is accurate and maintained across the group
7. Assist with recruitment functions across the business, including the preparation of employment agreements
The level of engagement and involvement in these activities will be led by the willingness of the individual in the role. Moreover, you will be encouraged to pursue the path that you are passionate about. Are you ready?
About you
To be successful as the People and Capability Advisor, you will ideally have a relevant tertiary degree in the discipline of Human Resources and bring with you at least two to four years of experience in a generalist P&C role, with a focus on Employment Relations.
You will be a self-starter who is ready to get involved in all areas of People and Capability functions, with a willingness to not only support in all areas where required but also to question and challenge the status quo, encouraging new and better ways of working.
With a strong focus on the customer experience, you will foster the Brackenridge values and way of working principles in all your working relationships. You will be a strong communicator and, as someone who can listen attentively, you will understand the true value of teamwork.
We are looking for someone who is ready to hit the ground running, eager to learn, and excited about supporting the continuous improvement orientation of the People and Capability function.
