Job Title: Specification Sales Manager – Ventilation

Areas to be covered: Midlands & South

The role of the Specification Sales Manager – Heating & Ventilation will involve:
1. Field sales position selling our clients new and existing manufactured range of ventilation.
2. Specification field sales position, targeting MEP consultants, social housing and private housebuilders/housing developers.
3. Responsible for increasing presence within the social housing and new build market by engaging with key regional social landlords at head office level, consultants and developers.
4. Acting as the product champion for our client’s ventilation brand.
5. Supporting team of key account managers who sell the full heating and ventilation portfolio.
6. Tasked with supporting the team in growing existing ventilation revenue in the South & Midlands.
7. Targeting projects up to £2m.
8. Predominantly residential, but also high rise, multi-use and light commercial buildings.
9. 70-80% of your time will be spent in mainland England, focusing on the major conurbations.
10. The delivery of CPD presentations and ongoing project discussions.
The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager – Heating & Ventilation with:
1. Technical field sales specification experience within the ventilation/HVAC market.
2. Sold to MEP consultants.
3. Ability to deliver bespoke Ventilation CPDs.
4. Sold into social housing or new build/housebuilder sectors.
5. The ability to build relationships with key senior contacts in target markets.
6. Excellent personal organizational and project management skills.
7. Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
8. Good negotiation and customer management skills.
9. Good financial acumen and strong commercial awareness.
10. The ability to plan, set goals and organize effectively to achieve objectives.
11. Solid and demonstrable commercial, financial and negotiating skills.
