The post of School Business Manager is crucial to the ongoing success of the school and will lead on the non-teaching side of the school. The role is assisted by a strong support staff team, sits on the senior leadership team and will work very closely with the Headteacher. The main areas of the role focus on: Management the school's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Oversee the school's human resources, including recruitment, training, and performance management. Work closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to support the school's strategic objectives. Line management of the school office and other non-academic support staff Organisational tasks, and support to the Headteacher and Governing Body, on all areas of school management Overseeing of Health and Safety throughout the school Line management of Premises staff Candidates with previous school business manager experience are sought, with a particular strength required on the budgeting and day to day financial management. Any formal qualifications relating to the job would enhance your application, but not essential. Excellent communication skills, self-motivation and a good sense of humour would go a long way The role is offered as a 52 week, full time position.
