We have an exciting opportunity to join our client's growing Building Services consultancy, with a strong low-carbon focus - based in Bristol. Our client is an independent, award-winning consultancy with sustainability being at the core of all of their projects. Working across many different sectors within Building Services Design, including:

Once you become part of the team, you will have the responsibility of delivering high-quality engineering designs for buildings from concept level to completion. You will be a key part of the team, client-facing while having management responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead Electrical Engineers for multiple projects at varying stages.
2. Lead and supervise the production of drawings in 2D and 3D Design using systems such as AutoCAD/Revit.
3. Preparation of reports and specifications.
4. Engage with design teams and clients during the design phase of projects.
5. Supervising graduate and assistant engineers.
6. Client relationships management and business development.
7. Financial management of projects.
Requirements:
1. CEng – Chartered membership of a professional institution or be working towards this.
2. BEng or MEng degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant subject.
3. Minimum 5 years’ experience designing electrical systems for buildings.
4. Knowledge and experience working on sustainable projects and be up to date with emerging technologies such as photovoltaics and EV charging design.
5. Passion for sustainability.
6. Excellent communication skills and ability to support/train junior engineers.
7. Ability to lead projects, with a view for increasing management and leadership responsibilities.
8. Be strongly motivated.
9. Competent in design software such as Amtech, AutoCAD, Revit, IES or Dialux.
