The Role This pivotal role centres on designing and implementing a fit-for-purpose FP&A toolkit to support strategic planning, forecasting, and performance reporting across the business. You'll work closely with commercial and delivery teams to drive financial insight and strengthen decision-making across the consultancy. Key responsibilities include: Partnering with senior stakeholders to develop business plans aligned to commercial and sustainability objectives Designing and refining quoting and bidding models to support competitive and profitable client proposals Leading the development of a robust KPI framework to track performance across service lines Building methodologies to optimise consultant resource allocation based on value and business priorities Developing dynamic financial models to support budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning Enhancing FP&A processes and tools to improve reporting efficiency, accuracy, and scalability Your Profile The ideal candidate will bring: Strong commercial acumen and a track record of business partnering in consultancy or project-based environments Advanced Excel modelling capabilities and experience developing integrated financial models In-depth knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and effectively Prior experience within a sustainability, professional services, or resource-based business would be highly advantageous Compensation & Benefits This contract offers a day rate of £600-700, along with the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact consultancy driving change across the sustainability landscape.
