Position overview As Marketing and PR executive at Oak Engage you will be responsible for communicating key messages and promoting a positive image of the company. You will create content across a range of channels in order to raise awareness of the Oak Engage brand, engage our target audience and generate demand for our product. As Marketing and PR Executive you will work closely with the Head of Marketing and PR and our Marketing and PR Executive to ensure consistency of brand messaging across our channels including PR, Social Media, Digital Marketing, Events and Email Marketing. Key responsibilities: Manage and update Oak Engage’s social media channels in line with our social media strategy Create high-quality content, including blog posts, newsletters, press releases, whitepapers, guides and videos, to establish thought leadership and drive engagement Work closely with the Design team to create content across Oak Engage’s channels Report on social media performance and implement improvements and test and learn activity Monitor competitor activity across key channels such as social media, website, the media and events Assist with the development and delivery of PR and Marketing campaigns Manage the organisation of Oak’s promotional events Identify key awards for submission to reinforce Oak’s key messages by liaising with different departments Build and maintain relationships with relevant press and influencers in the internal communications and HR industries in order to increase brand awareness Requirements Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field Knowledge and experience of Marketing and Communications Experience with creating content for social media including video editing Strong copywriting skills with a flair for creative writing Highly motivated, enthusiastic and ability to use your own initiative Excellent attention to detail Excellent communication skills Relationship management Knowledge and experience with a range of design packages including InDesign is desirable Knowledge of the intranet and enterprise software industry is a plus Benefits Hybrid working (up to 2 days at home) Flexible working around core hours 25 days holiday plus: Oak bank holidays Discretionary days allowance Christmas closure (work permitting) between Christmas and New Year Pension and life insurance Health insurance & Employee Assistance Programme Ongoing training and development opportunities Engaging social events Enhanced Maternity & Paternity Leave Gym membership contribution Join our team and play a key role in helping organisations transform their internal communication and collaboration with Oak.
