Gleeson Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant for a leading organisation based in Solihull on an ongoing temporary basis.
The Role
The Assistant Management Accountant is a pivotal role within the finance function and to the wider business. You will work closely with the Management Accountants to assist in the production of month-end management accounts.
This role will ideally suit someone with month-end experience, who can speak to non-finance individuals and is keen to develop with an exciting and growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Month-end accruals and prepayments
* Bank reconciliations
* Journal entry
* General ledger maintenance
* Support balance sheet financial controls
* Month-end duties
* Assisting with audits
Candidate Attributes:
* QBE or part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Keen eye for detail
* Proficient with Microsoft Excel
