Job Description
We take pride in being one of the leading consultancy providers to the infrastructure sector where we use our skills, processes, and knowledge to provide industry leading services to our clients. We are looking to further bolster our Project Controls Team with the addition of Risk Analysts to work within our Manchester office. Join our best in industry team to have the opportunity to work on high profile construction infrastructure projects across a variety of sectors including energy, renewables, nuclear, rail and utilities.
Responsibilities
1. Facilitate identification, assessment and prioritisation of threats, opportunities and issues.
2. Maintain visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points to facilitate risk cost profiling, timely drawdown of risk budget or retirement of threat/opportunity.
3. Assist with the identification and development of appropriate management responses which are measurable and specific, along with assessing the post mitigated positions.
4. Monitor overall risk exposure and assess against the remaining risk budget and timeline.
5. Produce and present fit for purpose risk reports, in a timely manner, to support the effective communication of threat & opportunity status and required senior management action.
6. Understand quantitative risk assessment (cost, schedule and integrated) to inform project contingency and time risk allowance levels. Demonstrate basic to practitioner competency with tools such as Safran, @risk, PRA or similar.
7. Familiarity with web-based database/reporting tools - ARM, Xactium, Predict, Tableau, PowerBI.
Qualifications
We are looking for individuals who can fully demonstrate the following capabilities:
1. Industry experience such as; construction, infrastructure, engineering, automotive or within a management consultancy.
2. A working understanding of a developing and implementing integrated risk management solutions across portfolios, programmes and projects.
3. Understanding of both qualitative and quantitative assessment of risk (QRSA's and QCSA's) including probabilistic modelling (@risk, PRA, Safran or equivalent). However, industry leading training will be provided.
4. Risk and Scenario Analysis workshop facilitation.
5. Development of proactive threat mitigation and opportunity exploitation.
6. Broad understanding of Project Controls methodology and risk management interactions.
