A key part of the GOSH Above and Beyond strategy is to create a new, world-leading Children’s Cancer Centre – a unique resource for children with some of the most complex cancers. With wards, a cancer day care centre and critical care facility, the centre will provide holistic personalised and co-ordinated care for children with cancer.
Main duties of the job
The CCC Project Support Officer will be responsible for supporting the provision and organisation of high-quality administrative services that enable the efficient running of the Children’s Cancer Centre Project Management Office.
The post holder will be required to support, facilitate, and monitor the progress of numerous project/workstreams and service improvements, reporting progress and issues. Additionally, the post holder will be expected to provide a professional, positive, and approachable support resource, demonstrating excellent stakeholder relationship management, reliability, and consistency of service. Team working is a fundamental part of the role.

The recruitment process for all admin and clerical roles at Bands 2-4 will be a two-stage recruitment process whereby shortlisted candidates will undertake an online literacy, numeracy, ICT and typing test. Only those candidates who pass the competency test will proceed to a formal interview.
