The Role:
* Deliver both reactive and preventative maintenance in a heavy engineering plant environment.
* Follow routine planned maintenance schedules, including plant inspection and overhauls, reporting all findings.
* Assist in the efficient operation of the Structural function, reporting to the Team Leader/Shift Engineer.
* Assess risks, conduct Point of Work risk assessments, and implement control measures for a safe working environment.
The Person:
* Experience in welding (MMA, MIG, TIG, Oxy-fuel cutting) and working with a variety of welding equipment.
* Recognized Structural apprenticeship (ONC level or equivalent).
