Quality Personnel is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to join our client's team on a 12-month maternity leave cover contract. Take charge of the daily review of the buyer workbench using the ERP system
Raise, maintain, and expedite Purchase Orders for stock and non-stock items
Prepare and deliver accurate pricing quotes for design, sales, intercompany, and incoming freight teams
Build lasting relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality and timely deliveries
Manage part parameters, stocking levels, and price lists within the ERP system
Stay ahead by notifying and mitigating any cost increases
Create new part numbers when needed, ensuring smooth workflow
Analyze supplier KPIs to improve delivery performance and stock availability
Update and maintain training resources to keep the team on top of their game
Key Performance Criteria:
Achieve KPIs and performance targets to ensure seamless operation and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For:
Experience: Proven background in purchasing administration or a similar role
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); ERP experience (Epicor is a bonus)
Qualification: Eagerness to study for your CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) certification
Knowledge: Basic understanding of engineering drawings is a plus
Unmatched attention to detail and exceptional admin skills
Proactive, with a "can-do" attitude and a knack for problem-solving
Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with all levels of staff
The ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
