What are we looking for in this position?
* Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for design and construction projects, including materials, labour and equipment.
* Build and maintain and up-to-date database of costs, suppliers and subcontractors.
* Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to retain competitive pricing and accurate cost assessments.
* Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications to determine project requirements.
* Support the preparation of tender submissions and budget proposals.
* Prepare summary reports and analysis and maintain accurate records of project cost for future referencing and benchmarking.
* Ensure all estimates and associated documentation are accurate, well-organised and submitted on time.
* Support with managing Client's needs and meeting expectations.
What will we need you to have?
* Office-based in London.
* A minimum of 2-Years Experience in a similar role.
* Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and data to develop accurate estimates.
* Effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with team members, clients and suppliers.
* Strong negotiation skills.
* A keen eye for detail ensuring precision in calculations and documentation.
