Join us in shaping the future of our students and make a lasting impact with Macclesfield College The Role 29.6 hours per week – 9:00am – 3:00pm – (flexible hours over 4 or 5 days) Macclesfield College has an innovative vision in delivering high quality education to a wide range of learners. The post-holder will be involved in the sourcing, organisation, planning and reporting of work placements across a range of courses. This includes assessing the suitability, safeguarding requirements and health and safety legislation in line with college policies and procedures. The post holder will be supporting the College learners in achieving their goals and career progression by sourcing high quality work placements, and ensuring high student attendance and satisfaction. Main Duties for this role To deliver high quality assessment both in college and off site, using an appropriate range of methods to facilitate and support learning and achievement. To conduct training and assessment with a high level of competence fulfilling all audit requirements. To assess accurately individual training needs and to design individual training programmes to achieve planned outcomes within defined timescales in line with College processes and procedures. To have good knowledge and awareness of health and safety within the sector and competence in conducting workplace risk assessments.
