Our client seeks a Test Analyst to join their team.
Role Profile: Responsible for delivering and managing test deliverables within the organisation. The role will be responsible for ensuring we design, develop and administer a series of test evaluations that identify any potential issues with products/systems before its general release.
Key Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the production and upkeep of key test artifacts: Test Strategy/Approach, Test Cases, Test Summary Report, Test Tasks.
2. Business requirements validation, ensuring requirements are concise and testable.
3. Design validation, help ensure that the design meets the requirements and an understanding of how a specific design can be tested.
4. Assist in the continued improvement of the testing framework.
5. Managing the schedule and sequencing of testing.
6. Providing test progress updates to the project team.
7. Collaborating with the Change Team and external parties on better ways of working.
8. Providing testing estimates.
9. Maintain productive relationships within the Change Team, IT and all Business teams.
Key Skills and Experience:
1. Ideally Professional Qualifications in Testing.
2. Proven experience as a Test Analyst within the Banking or Insurance and Investments world.
3. Experience in working on large projects/programmes.
4. Experience in delivering all test artifacts listed above.
5. Proficiency in using testing tools.
6. An understanding of the different project methodologies.
7. Beneficial - An understanding of how to navigate and write basic SQL scripts.
8. Beneficial - An understanding of automated test tools.
