We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join an independent, newly refurbished small animal practice situated close to the dynamic city of Glasgow.

Our client manages an RCVS accredited small animal practice that has been an integral part of the community since 1988, earning a stellar reputation for delivering top-notch veterinary care. Following a significant refurbishment in 2019, the practice stands as a bright and modern facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including X-ray, Ultrasound, Dentistry, an In-house laboratory, and more.
As a member of their team, you will collaborate with experienced and friendly veterinary professionals, including Clinical Lead, 1 other Vet Surgeon, 2 nurses, and a dedicated support staff of animal care assistants and receptionists.
Enjoy clinical autonomy to shape your own approach to veterinary care, while being supported by a skilled, experienced team that includes certificate holders in Dentistry and Imaging, as well as well as a team member pursuing a cardiology certificate, and another with a strong interest in Surgery and Coaching.
They are seeking an individual who aligns with the practice ethos, prioritising animal welfare in providing optimal care. Your role will involve utilising your knowledge of animal physiology, nutrition, and medicine, combined with practical skills to diagnose illness, prescribe medicines, and perform imaging tests, laboratory tests, and surgery.
The ideal candidate will embrace innovation, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a team-oriented environment. You will have a couple of years under your belt and be comfortable working sole charge when needed. The Rota:
• Part-time role: 2 days per week (8:30am-6:30pm)
• 1:3 Saturdays (8:30am-1pm)
• No OOH
