Job Title: Engineered Resin Setter Salary: £Excellent Benefits: To be discussed at interview Job Type: Permanent Location: Mansfield Job Start date: ASAP Shift Pattern: Days We’re supporting our client, a global, injection moulding manufacturer based in Mansfield, who are looking for an Engineered Resin Setter to join their growing team. The successful Engineered Resin Setter will have a deep understanding of engineering grade resins, especially glass filled nylons and advanced troubleshooting skills. Job Summary: As an Engineered Resin Setter, you will be primarily but not limited to overseeing engineer grade resins moulds. Duties will include setting, pulling and troubleshooting of all tools. Creating PPM schedule and preforming to it. Assisting with regains and blank off of cavities. Assisting with general maintenance of IMM, Assembly and various equipment. Responsibilities for Engineered Resin Setter: Health and Safety. Set up, adjust, and maintain tools and equipment to ensure high standard of accuracy and smooth operation on the production floor. Implement a tooling PPM schedule. Ensure all information on tooling status is up to date i.e. cavitation, faults with blanked off cavities etc. Identify areas for improvement in all aspects of the cell. Self-prioritise workload by communication with Shift Leaders, Operations Manager, Toolroom, Maintenance etc Heavy involvement with trials Identify cost saving initiatives within the department and across site. About You: A deep understanding of engineering grade resins, especially glass filled nylons. Advanced troubleshooting skills Ability to set and pull tools on injection moulding machines from a range of 60T-650T Can work independently or as part of the wider Production / Tooling / Maintenance teams. Good communicator at all levels. Eager to learn, organised, calm, innovative thinker to find solutions to issues, self-motivated, flexible and adaptable.
