Job Title: Software Engineer II
As a key member of our Product Engineering team at Best Buy Health, you will play a crucial role in delivering end-to-end customer and patient outcomes. We prioritize evaluating opportunities to further our long-term technical vision while maintaining a bias towards action and customer/product value.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with software engineering teams to build scalable applications and microservices for patients and healthcare professionals.
* Collaborate with biomedical engineers, data scientists, electronics engineers, and product specialists to drive project success.
* Contribute to technical design and code reviews, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
* Provide 24/7 support for products, resolving live issues as needed, and work closely with Product Management to deliver key objectives.
* Be responsible for a product engineering team delivering key objectives that enable the product to scale, directly improving healthcare provision worldwide.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
* 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent relevant professional experience.
* Significant previous experience as a Software Engineer, with expertise in modern programming languages, testing frameworks, and testable code.
* Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and balance quality with a fast-paced schedule.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction.
