Role: Learning Support Assistant/ SEN Teaching Assistant
Hours: 8:30-3:30
Are you looking for a new challenge within Primary schools?
Protocol Education is looking to recruit experienced support staff to work with pupils with various needs such as:
1. Autism (ASC): Pupils may need support in class to keep them on task and potentially deal with any behaviour issues.
2. Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD): Including Down Syndrome, pupils may fall behind, become isolated from friends, and need support to adjust and work at a pace to suit their ability.
3. Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD): Such as Dyslexia, which may require support understanding work set and keeping on track. Special adjustments may be required, and extra time to embed new topics is often supported with learning assistance.
4. Physical Disability: May require access, personal care, or mobility support.
These are the most common types of SEND you will come across in Primary Schools.
Do you have experience in one or more of these needs or hold any relevant qualifications you wish to apply in practice?
