Job Title: Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Location: Maghull, Sefton Contract: Full-time, Long-term Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school in Maghull, Sefton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with classroom-based experience who is looking for a long-term, full-time role supporting children across EYFS to KS1. Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support to children in EYFS and KS1, both in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.
* Assist with planning and delivering engaging lessons under the direction of the class teacher.
* Commitment to safeguarding.
* Foster a positive learning environment and encourage students to reach their full potential.
* Help with classroom management and ensure a safe and nurturing learning space.
* Work closely with other teaching staff to monitor student progress and provide additional support as required.
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress.
Requirements:
* Must hold a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
* Previous experience working in a classroom setting, ideally within a mainstream primary school.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Passionate about supporting young learners and helping them achieve their best.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Committed to providing a positive learning experience for all children.
* A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to working with children.

* References confirming suitability for role
* Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or happy to apply for one through Chalk Education
