Due to ongoing growth within our Holiday Club, we are looking for a Holiday Club Assistant to join our team.
The role will be covering all the School term holidays, working with all children and supporting our children with SEND. This role will be full time during the school holidays, but could be part time for the right person (minimum of 30 hours).
Duties
1. You will work as part of a team planning, monitoring and evaluating activities for children at Holiday Club.
2. Support in ensuring the environment is stimulating and appropriate including layout, display of resources, displays and equal opportunities.
3. Assist with the daily, weekly and monthly checks.
4. Ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of the children in the room at all times is essential.
5. To support qualified staff with daily routines.
6. To learn how to provide high quality childcare to our children.
7. Understand the importance of keeping everyone safe and the part you play.
8. To gain a good understanding of child development and how this is important when caring for children.
9. To support children who have SEND that attend Holiday Club.
About you
1. You should have a strong interest in working with children to help them develop and grow.
2. You should demonstrate a good work ethic and be able to communicate effectively with the people around you, making sure that you treat both other staff and children with respect and care at all times.

Pay: From £11.55 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
