Hillfields Nursery School is in the heart of Coventry. We offer a caring and supportive environment to all our community. Staff, governors and children are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and passionate Early Years Nursery Assistant - Level 2 qualified, who is keen to develop their knowledge of SEND.
If you have qualified since 2016, please remember that you need a CURRENT Paediatric First Aid Certificate for your qualification to be valid.

From January 2025, we are seeking to appoint an Early Years Nursery Assistant who is passionate about meeting children's individual needs, learning through play outdoors and indoors and who is able to take on new skills to work with a wide range of needs; as we have a high level of special educational needs identified.
The successful candidate would be working with a key person within a small key group, in the first instance, under the leadership of the class teacher and SENCo. The key group has around 8 children each session with My Support Plans or Educational Health Care Plans in place.
You will need current knowledge of the EYFS and an enthusiasm to further develop your own learning and practice.
We are looking to appoint for the start of Spring term, 6th January 2025 but can be flexible if you need to work notice in a current role.
