We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic full-time Band 5 Staff Nurses to join our team on Bramshott Ward.
Bramshott Ward is a busy 28-bedded ward specialising in Trauma and Orthopaedics, and has a highly motivated approach to multidisciplinary patient care.
Candidates will be required to have good communication and observational skills and be passionate about providing high standards of care. Ongoing training and support in this role will be provided, and the trust offers an excellent Preceptorship Programme to support newly qualified nurses.
Applicants should have a genuine interest in developing skills and knowledge in caring for patients undergoing Orthopaedic Surgery.
Responsibilities:
1. Act as a registered, accountable, and autonomous nurse in the best interests of your patients at all times.
2. Take personal responsibility for your actions and decisions.
3. Be responsible for patient assessment, planning of care, implementing and supervising safe and compassionate care, and evaluating the effectiveness of care.
4. Facilitate learning and development of others as an NMC registrant.
5. Demonstrate leadership qualities and uphold the values and beliefs of the Trust and the NMC Code of Conduct.
6. Provide a high standard of individualised patient care reflecting individual competencies and education that involves relatives/carers as appropriate.
7. Be responsible for the nursing care of a defined group of patients.
8. Assist in the management and organisation of the nursing service in the clinical area, including teaching and managing more junior staff or those in training.
