Unity Care Solutions are seeking an experienced Recruitment Advisor to steer the company’s recruitment strategy.
This role can truly make a difference. You will specialise in recruiting skilled individuals with the relevant qualifications and experience into roles which provide complex care to our clients within the comfort of their own home. You will navigate the complex but rewarding world of social care to ensure our staff are competent to deliver the highest standards of care.
This is a critical, but exciting, role within the company, working closely with our several branch teams across the business. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the recruitment process, ensuring that we attract and hire top talent to meet our organisational needs. This position requires strong communication skills, relationship management abilities, and familiarity with various recruitment technologies.
Duties will include:
1. Leading the recruitment process from start to finish, including advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding.
2. Using a range of methods to source ideal candidates, including social media, job boards, and events.
3. Primary responsibility for onboarding compliance, including processing of references, DBSs, and contracts, to ensure the company remains compliant with contractual and regulatory obligations.
4. Coordinating positive and meaningful inductions within the branches.
5. Creation, development, and implementation of imaginative recruitment strategies to encourage engagement with candidates, including through social media.
6. Development of interview frameworks and skills assessments.
7. Arrange attendance at job fairs and recruitment functions, and involvement in local and national recruitment projects to increase candidacy levels.
8. Creation of staff files, ensuring these are compliant and contain all necessary components.
9. Having an awareness of the recruitment needs of the business, and supporting the management team by recruiting staff into priority service locations and positions.
10. Liaise with other business areas around new starters.
11. Gather feedback around the candidate experience as part of our ‘continuous improvement’ strategy.
12. Maintain awareness of sector-specific recruitment initiatives to drive recruitment within the social care landscape.
13. Auditing of staff files and employee compliance.

About You
You will ideally have experience working in a similar role within social care, and will already have a good understanding of regulatory compliance requirements under the Care Quality Commission.
You will have gained relevant experience working within a high-volume recruitment-based role, and will therefore understand the vital role recruitment plays within the health & social care sector.

You will ideally have experience of using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) however this is not essential.
