We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Neurodiversity Practitioner to join our Mental Health team at HMP Doncaster, a category B Prison located in Doncaster.
HMP YOI Doncaster is a busy male remand and resettlement prison with a capacity of 1065 for adults ages from 18+ It is a 10 minute walk from Doncaster train station or there is free parking on site.
Hours
This is a full time Monday - Friday hours per week however we will also be happy to accept hours per week over 4 days per week.
Salary
This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £46,per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Senior Neurodiversity Practitioner, your responsibilities will vary. You will
1. Provide specialised care planned interventions meeting the individualised needs of the patient population who have been identified as having a neurodiversity need
2. Responsible for assessment and caseload management of those referred to the service
3. Working closely with Primary Care, Mental Health, SMS and other healthcare providers
4. You will also work closely with our partners within the wider prison to ensure collaborative and holistic care
5. Work under your own direction whilst also contributing to the wider multidisciplinary teams
6. Model a culture of compassion, care, courage, commitment, communication and competence.

Qualifications required (copy from JD)
14. RMN, RNLD, Social Worker (Mental Health) or Occupational Therapist (Mental Health)
15. Current professional qualification (NMC or HCPC equivalent)
16. Evidence of continued professional development
17. Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
18. A non-judgemental and compassionate approach
Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
