5. HQ based in Hampshire.
The Role - Buyer / Procurement
My client is looking for an experienced Buyer to join the team; this will be a hybrid role between office, home, and site as required.
Duties:
1. Procurement expertise; in-depth understanding of procurement processes, supplier sourcing, and contract negotiation.
2. Technical knowledge of fire safety regulations (preferred but not essential) and materials used in construction and cladding.
3. Compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
4. Project management skills to coordinate procurement schedules with project timelines.
5. Financial awareness in budget management and cost estimation.
6. Maintain/build on supplier relationships.
7. Manage risk and problem-solving skills for addressing supply chain issues.
8. Managing and mentoring junior staff.
9. Salary to be increased if experience in Fire Remediation.
